1965 Plymouth Barracuda — Goldfish

July 2007 Mopar of the Month

Bruce writes: Hey folks, my name is Bruce Lindstrom and this is my Fish story.

In the fall of 1999 I called a friend of mine to see if he had a car I could put a 440w/blower into and not ruin the frame. He said “I have the perfect car for you, a 1965 Barracuda; used to race and got to be pretty well-known.”

So he GIVES me the car.

After some checking with the right people, I had a visitor at my front door in Nebraska. Yes Sir, Ray Kobe, President, Founder, and Chief Historian of the “GOLDEN COMMANDOS” authenticated my 1965 as being the one and only GOLDFISH.

Details: 352.1 original miles, acid dipped fenders, hood and doors, Lexan driver’s window; also has many prototype parts that are still manufactured today.

The Barracuda will be finished in 2008 for its first event.

Ray recently added me to the roster of the “COMMANDOS” and I have met them all and they are real excited to see this one-of-a-kind Mopar going to be back in action. Hope to hear some of you are interested in this project. Thank you, Bruce Lindstrom.
